South District Picnic
The annual picnic for PATC trail overseers in the South District of Shenandoah National Park and their families will be held at Dundo Picnic Grounds on Saturday, May 31st, starting at 10 A.M. This year’s event promises to be as much fun as those last year and in 2006. Acme Treadway Company crew members are more than welcome to participate!
Activities
The South Shenandoah Valley Chapter has scheduled a trail project in the morning before the picnic. If you’re interested in participating with them, contact the

for the chapter.
Other than these, the district manager has only “planned” for a good outdoor meal and a really nice area in the Dundo Picnic Grounds for people to kick back and have fun.
If you like, bring along a frisbee, softball gear, or a guitar (if you play it), or similar stuff. Others are bound to join with you.
Food
The meat (hamburgers, hot dogs, bratwurst), condiments, buns, and charcoal for the picnic will be provided. If you participate, plan to bring a salad, vegetable, or desert enough for you and your family to share. (If you’re single or attending on your own, it’s best to bring enough for yourself and three others.)
Please note: You’re not asked to bring a salad and a vegetable dish and a desert; only any one of these.
Registration
If we’re providing the meat, I need to have an idea of how many will participate. So, please register for this event. And, do it NOW!
