The Tuscarora Trail Management Plan

The Tuscarora Trail Management Plan is a cooperative agreement between private and public land owners to establish and maintain governance of the Tuscarora Trail to protect the interests of the land owners and to preserve the trail for the public.

Intermittent spring and stream crossing conditions vary depending upon the year, the season of year, and the time of day, with increased water flow occurring in the morning, during the spring, and in so-called “wet” years.

Information on springs & streams crossing the Tuscarora Trail is provided from North to South. Further information is contained in the appropriate guidebook for the Tuscarora Trail, which is published by PATC (see Appendix E. Trailheads and Parking for access to these trails). The trail mileage referenced is contained on the appropriate map elevation profile.
