4-E. Trailheads and Parking

PATC Policy

The Potomac Appalachian Trail Club supports the provision of adequate parking at roadside trailheads where such parking is safe, appropriate, and does not irritate local residents. Proper engineering and design must be applied to each parking area project to ensure that the facility is properly sited, well-drained, and safe for all traffic.

The Potomac Appalachian Trail Club will thoroughly coordinate each project with responsible local, state, and federal agencies.
